Welcome to Fibromyalgia Frontier. My name is Julie Reagan, and I am the founder of this website.

The aim of the group is to support, inform, and educate anyone diagnosed with fibromyalgia.

A little about me:
I am a professor, researcher, and public health expert. I approach fibromyalgia from the perspective of a population (a large group) rather than individual patients. I hold a Ph.D. in Public Health, a Masters in Public Health, a Juris Doctorate (law degree), and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education. I worked as a state government attorney for over 25 years. In 2014, I decided to quit practicing law and started my career in academia as a public health professor.

Like most of you visiting this site, I also have fibromyalgia. It took many visits to my primary care doctor before I was finally diagnosed in 2015. Since then, I have been actively engaged in fibromyalgia research to attempt to understand this very complex condition. Through this website, my goal is to spread current and reliable information about fibromyalgia far and wide.
